First Family Vacation...

On Saturday, April 16th we all flew to Boston so Jesse could run the Boston Marathon! If you want to read about how he qualified check out his blog! Here is how our trip went...

We woke Georgia Grace up...

We told her it was time to go on the big airplane...

When we first got to the airport she didn't know what all the craziness was about...

But then it was time to get ready to fly... And she had a great time!

We actually ended up having to get off our plane and load a new one because of a broken switch of some sort so we flew out several hours later! I was able to blog from my phone so check out the previous post for more plane pics!

Once we got to Boston we went on the subway to go eat at the Cheers restaurant!

Georgia Grace was a little tired!

On Sunday we went to the expo so Jesse could get his race packet,
but first Georgia Grace had to rest up a little bit!
But then she was ready to head to the expo!
We even signed a big banner for daddy!
We signed by the letter E in Mile!

That night we had a nice surprise. Lindsey and Meredith were stuck in Atlanta and couldn't get a flight out to California so they asked about a flight to Boston and so they came up to hang out with us!

Monday was the big day...

Daddy ran 26.2 miles in the oldest and most prestigious road race!

We were so proud of him!

After an afternoon nap we went to see Harvard and eat dinner at a cool restaurant called Fire and Ice...it was awesome! They cooked all your food on this huge grill. Plus it was all-you-can-eat (perfect after running for 3 hours!)

On Tuesday we went to tour Fenway Park.

Georgia Grace slept the whole time!
Here are some pictures from the tour...

After the tour we went to The Cheesecake Factory...Little Miss woke up for that!!

On Wednesday we toured the city...but it was FREEZING!
So Georgia Grace slept all day!

Here are some pictures from around Boston...

Time to wake up!

On Thursday it was time to head back to see Ace! (Plus it was big girls 3 month birthday!)
But first we stopped by to see Uncle Josh since he lives in Charlotte!
We had a great first family vacation!
